For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. (Timothy 1.7)
Even though I walk through the darkest valley,I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (psalm 23:4)
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord . (Acts 3:19)
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. (Colossians 3:15)
Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34)
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)
Say to those with fearful hearts, βBe strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.β (Isaiah 35:4)
Awesome! Really Awesome.

Turning to sources of STRENGTH (whether it’s the bible, a spouse, a friend, etc…) is a habit we should practice on a regular basis. Why we choose to search for it ONLY when facing adversities rather than embracing it in times of JOY and HAPPINESS, is a question few have asked themselves. We are a REACTIVE society. We attempt to UNDO the harm we cause ourselves rather than living lives that promote BALANCED HEALTH with PURPOSE and PASSION.
Your post is a wonderful reminder that better opportunities for QUALITY LIVING exist if we ACTIVELY participate in some way 365 days a year.

thank you for sharing your own personl acrostic…it is something that can be applied to many areas we/I need to be ‘fearless’ in facing. The first thing that came to mind while I was reading it was “In thee oh Lord, do I put my trust…” from Ps 71:1…putting trust in man/this society/our leaders/etc does not yield inner fearlessness!
Keep on keepin’ on, Tink.

The link I have enclosed gives you Free Access to the SQUARE ONE: Healing Cancer Coaching Program. There may be follow up services where fees are charged, but Chris Wark is a reputable person. He was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer and relates well with those people diagnosed with various types of cancer. I am NOT suggesting you buy ANYTHING, but you may find his free program helpful. His approach is POSITIVE and NATURAL and incorporates many concepts that simply make sense. Just wanted to share this for use as an additional resource.
