New Year’s Resolutions

Why bother?

I always somehow manage to break them before the end of January.

So how about not making any?

All I know is, I will try to be kind to others, do good, and be good to myself.

Seems easy enough.

I promise to keep you posted on the progress.

Let’s make this new year a great one, live life, and create as many memories as we can.

And, of course, find reasons to be happy and laugh often… even if it is at ourselves.

Happy New Year!

I never make resolutions. I just try to be happy and listen to myself, and I think if you do that then you’re going to get better results. Have a lovely New Year, may it bless you with all that you need to be happy.

I made this comment to a reader on my site, but think it applies well to your post.

“Often, people have good intentions, however, lack the necessary sense of SELF VALUE needed to convert intentions into SUCCESSFUL OUTCOMES. It is my belief that each of us was blessed with the gift of LIFE and a chance to offer this world a piece of US to enhance the world we live in. Recognizing the world GAINS from our INDIVIDUAL contributions makes it simpler to see the VALUE in our lives. This helps incentivize (as well as motivate) us to move forward in a POSITIVE direction; sharing our GIFTS while improving the quality of our lives.”

This is why we make resolutions. These are not merely words, but concepts worth LIVING! If they are just words and actions we state out of HABIT, they offer no substance. ATTITUDE helps determine the DRIVE and PERSISTENCE toward achieving these GOALS. With the proper MINDSET, intentions become SUCCESSFUL OUTCOMES.

Wishing you and your family all the best in 2017 (and BEYOND!)
